Oh Reid!

It's been a long time since I talked about my ultimate crush - Dr. Spencer Reid of Criminal Minds. Lately, it seems as if he was out of the spotlight. Well, he had his moments but it's kinda bitin for me. So after watching the eleventh episode of season 7, I felt that familiar infatuation.

I guess I am just so attracted to him when he acts like a baby. He makes me want to take care of him. He seems vulnerable and trusting while at the same time possesses all those knowledge that I find so sexy. I'm really a dope for smart guys.

How I wish I can find my real life Reid! I really want to fall in love again. I have no idea how or when I would meet him but I really wish it would be anytime soon.

again?

Third day in this new house and I'm lovin' it.

I miss the kids. I am not used to just dropping by their place and spending a little time with them. I want them here but it's time they get used to their parents.

I am getting bored with all the work I have to do so I am bothering my batchmates and meddling in their businesses. This is such a pathetic way of killing time but I can't find something else to do. I don't want to read or write or watch another crime procedural.

gotta fight this! gotta work!

On Track

This is such a busy week. Until February 5 is over, we cannot breathe with all the nervousness. excitement, and tons of work we have to deal with in the next two weeks. As far as I am concerned, I am still fine. At least the stress of dealing with the old landlady is over. I only have to face the work-related stress which is normal anyways.

So now I am planning and scheduling the things I need to do, all the paperwork I need to accomplish, and all the practices the kids need to have. Crocheting, reading and writing are set aside first until I can find the time to concentrate on my projects. Yes, I still want to do all of them but I have learned my lesson. I am doing one job at a time. I am anxious to start all those slippers and hats and to start my new short story and look for new reads. But I have to stop myself from being carried away.

So with that, I have to log out first.

Moved In!

We've moved in!

I like the new place. Apart from the fact that we are just walking distance away from the kids, the place is new, the floors are clean, the bathroom is nice. Though, it's much smaller than our last place. Construction of other units is still ongoing so everything is dusty. There are still things in the boxes, looking for clothes is still hell. The signal is much better here anyway so I guess it's okay. I am excited. This is our new beginning.

Now, I want to focus on organizing. My budget needs a look over. My travel plans well, they're the next priority. Work? Well, I do it everyday so I'll take it one day at a time.

Organize and Prioritize

I'm so happy. I have done all the paperwork that needs to be done for today. I also got a tax refund and I bought new shoes. This Saturday, we'll be moving out and I'm kinda excited. It will mark a new beginning for us as a family and I am praying that it will be for the best.

I am trying my best to do one activity at a time. There is so much I want to do that sometimes I cannot set my priorities straight. Dad used to tell me that "rolling stones gather no moss." I know what it means and it is only now that I fully understand it. I used to be so stubborn. I thought if other people can many things at the same time, why can't I? It took me thirty years to realize that I am not other people. They were cut out for that. Me? I am the type who has to finish one thing first before moving on to the next.

So my next plan of action is - write down all the things I need and I want to do then arrange them chronologically. To shorten what I have been trying to say - I need to ORGANIZE and PRIORITIZE.

To set myself off - I'll pray. =)

Dense

Globe is acting up and I have spent almost 30 minutes clicking the refresh button. I hope that this will be the last of its tantrums because we will be moving out next weekend. Hopefully, the new place will offer us a better signal.

We had another one of our monthly meetings earlier. I did not talk about much about the curriculum and other BS paperwork we have but put more time on the anniversary program. We have barely a month and everyone's nerves are up. I really hope this would be a successful one even if I am halfhearted about it. I am more worried about my kids' academic standing. They did not enroll to just to learn how to sing and dance!

This is the last quarter, last chance to make this school year a more memorable one than last year. I am trying to make the kids be the best students before I send them out to those cruel big schools. I need time and energy to make it happen.

Zzzz....

I'm still in the middle of cleaning and completing the jobs assigned to me. I'm positive I can finish all of them. I just need to have a few hours of sleep to refresh my mind so that I can have enough energy. So I guess for today, I will skip my journal and catch those much needed zzz's! =)

Clutter

I started cleaning up but I was not able to finish. I know I have a lot of clutter but I never realized how much I had until I cleaned up. It seems every time I lift a layer of paper, the layers multiply. I'm giving myself a week just to put together the worksheets, materials, and other important papers. I think I can only organize and file them properly at the end of this school year.

I just realized how those papers and stuff reflect my life. Every time I discover something messed up and fix it, I'll find another one and fix it again. Sometimes it seems like it never ends. Sometimes, I find myself wanting to just ignore the clutter and live a messed up life because I am getting tired of fixing.

I guess that's how life is. Challenges come one after the other to continue honing us to be the best person we can be. The biggest challenge is actually not getting tired of overcoming them. The price is a life knowing that you have been the kind of person that God wants you to be.

Anyway, even if I have a lifetime to fix my life, I always have to remember that this is just borrowed time. I have to live everyday as it were my last no matter how hard that can be. I have a long list of things to achieve and to overcome. Right now, it's the clutter in my desk.

I Can Do It!

First day of classes tomorrow and I still don't feel like it. I miss my kids, don't get me wrong, it's just that I'm not in the mood to go back to my jampacked schedule. I just don't like the feeling that time is not enough in one day to accomplish all tasks. I want to slow down a bit and smell the 'effin roses.

Well, bitin lang talaga ang bakasyon. Iniisip ko na lang, ilang buwan na lang March na. Baksayon na ulit. Keri lang. I feel kinda guilty too because I was not able to finish all the tasks that I need to do. I have not followed some of my resolutions but one mistake doesn't mean I failed na di ba? I can make up. And I will make it up to me NOW.

I won't rush. I'll clear my head and do what is best. With the Lord to guide me and support me - I can do it.

Doing Them Now

I'm now working on my LP's. Yes, this is for real. I'm really doing it.

I just hope I maintain this motivation to finish what I have to finish and not be caught up in the daily hoolabaloos in school. This is my last day of freedom and hopefully I would be able to have a decent pile of paperwork tomorrow. I'm actually excited to finish all of them ASAP because I really would love to get rid of all the clutter.

We'll be moving out next week and I have started packing. I guess when we get to the new place I have to get rid of some of my stuff. Mom and Jane said that it's a lot smaller than this one.

So, I'm back to work. Not yet officially but since I promised that I will try to be earlier than the deadline, I better get busy.

2012 is Here

Happy New Year!

As promised, I will begin this year by listing down my resolutions. I am hopeful that I will be able to carry them out this year. I got tips from Reader's Digest hehehe. I wrote them down after the fireworks were gone. I don't think it's complete but I would focus first on the ones I wrote down because they are the most important.

1. I will develop a closer relationship to God - I'll pray more often, offer everything to him, go to church regularly, read the bible daily, and live a life that He wants me to live.

2. I will live a healthier lifestyle - eat healthy, sleep at least 7 hours a day, cut back on cigs and work out at least thirty minutes, three times a week.

3. I will work harder - I'll go to school earlier, maintain a neat desk, and finish tasks at least a week before the deadline

4. I will stay beautiful - I'll put more time in dressing up, taking care of my skin and my body, as well as looking fresh and young

5. I would improve my skills - crocheting, writing, teaching - I'll learn more and be better.

I know I still have a lot to improve on. But as I always say, I'm taking baby steps until I reach all my goals.

Again, Happy New Year everyone!
